Programme Background

Do you want to develop your people management skills? Are you looking to build on your leadership competencies and become an effective manager or supervisor? This five days skills programme is designed to provide managers and / or aspiring managers and supervisors with the sound set of skills required to lead and manage people within the work place

Programme Objective

This skills programme has been designed to enable delegates to develop competence in a range of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values in the work place including:

  • Initiating, developing, implementing and evaluating operational strategies, projects and action plans
  • Monitoring and measuring performance and applying continuous or innovative improvement interventions in the unit in order to attain its desired outcomes
  • Applying the principles of risk, financial and knowledge management and business ethics within internal and external regulatory frameworks in order to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the unit
  • Enhancing the development of teams and team members through facilitating the acquisition of skills, coaching, providing career direction, and capitalising on diversity in the unit.
